We
have been repairing DC jacks for several years in
Redding, apparently people do not know this and having
been shipping their computers off to service depots out
of state. We offer one of the best rates in town. Do not
be fooled by inexperienced people who have done one or
two, we literally have done hundreds of these repairs
and are very experienced and if for some reason the
repair doesn't work, we do not charge you. There are
times when the DC jack has been wiggled so much that it
will short out the charging board on the motherboard
itself, this requires a new motherboard and gets to be
very expensive. So if you are experiencing charging
problems, drop in, we will check your battery and
adapter for free!!
The cost is $140.00!!! It is a very labor extensive
repair, we actually remove your motherboard from the
laptop, de-solder the old broken jack and replace it
with a brand new one. In most cases we have the DC jacks
on hand and can usually repair it within 24 hours!!
Don't be
fooled with the ads that say they will do it cheaply,
because that's what you get. They simple remove a couple
of case screws spread the case and put a couple of drops
of solder on the DC jack, we have found that, sure in
some cases the jack is just loose, but usually it is the
jack itself that needs replacing. Get it done right at
